INA745B: The pads / solder /paste mask differ in datasheet vs available footprints

Part Number: INA745B

Tool/software:

The pads / solder / paste mask differ in datasheet vs footprints available from online symbol / footprint / model sources.

Specifically, the online footprints show basic rectangle for pads whereas the datasheet shows irregular shapes for the pads / solder / paste masks.

Are the online sources acceptable? If not, does TI have footprints that match the datasheet?

  • Hi Carl,

The datasheet shows the footprint that matches the pads on the device. However, we created a design footprint with solid rectangles. This will not cause any issue as there will be sufficient solder connections using this footprint.

You can use the footprints with the rectangle pads with no concern.

    Best,

    Holly
