Hari,
There are several problems with the way you bias the circuit.
1. I believe you want to use 3.3V single supply so you need to set (V-) to 0V instead of 3.3V - see above
2. The way you bias the circuit will result in voltage drop across the feedback resistors. BUT no op amp output may swing below its negative supply (presumably 0V). Thus, it will NOT work since your circuit configuration would require Vout to go down to -320mV - see below. Therefore, in this case you MUST use a positive Vref instead of 0V.
Therefore, you need to bias Vref at least at the voltage equal to the sum of max IPD*100k & max Vout swing to rail (see AOL conditions).
Btw, I'm not sure whether you plan to use OPA335 or OPA355 (OPA335 output voltage swing at 100mV while OPA355 300mV from either rail).
Below please see the setup for Vref of 3.3V which would result in VOUT = Vref - IPD*R1
Below I have attached Tina-TI schematic for your convenience.
Hi Mark,
I need to connect as shown below. The Vbias is a positive voltage.I believe current direction is as shown with red color.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
In this case output is positive so no need of a reference voltage at non inverting input.
The tool is still giving error for this configuration
Photodiode current has reverse bias direction - thus, what you drew has incorrect direction since Vbias is 3.3V.
The setup below may be correct (for as long as the reverse breakdown voltage of photodiode is above 5V) BUT you MUST specify bias for Vref - see below.
You had Vref specified on your original schematic. In order to avoid any further potential problems, I would have Vref and Vbias (confirm with your photodiode datasheet) grounded in your latest TIA setup - see below.

Sorry for the delayed response. We are on holiday break and Marek will respond when we return.
