Hi,

We use the OPA860 in our laser radar project and My main issue is the peak holding circuit we are currently using.

Occasionally, customers have reported problems with OPA860. Attached are specific test waveforms for good and defective products, and I would like to know the cause of the defective products.

Hi Zhang,

Can you please share the waveform at pin 3 (base) of the device also.

And what percentage of devices you found faulty/defective when you tested?

Hi Zhang,

This test report is i believe same as the one you shared before.

It will be much easier to debug if you can share the wafeform of the pin 3 (base) of the device aswell.

The updated file is same as the previous one and it doesnot have the PIN3 waveform.

Hi Zhang,

It seems line the devicing is not sinking in the current, ss it possible to ship the damaged unit to us so that we can do some more test on it.

But before that can you check and confirm

1. Quiescent current of the damaged part and good part, are they same or different?

2. On the board where you see the problem, can you check and confirm whether diode D350 is functioning properly or not?

Yes, we have testing the A-B-A and the issue is solved when we change the device;
