INA240: Suitable for my requirement or not ?

Hello Team,

I wanted to have a accurate current measurement solution. Can i use INA240 as a low side current measurement on my battery gnd line(DC low side current measurement), reliably measure upto 120A peak and 80ish amps continuous ? If this ic is not suitable for the mentioned application then can you help me find an ic suitable for my application.

Hi,

The device can definitely fit in the scenario. More specific requirements can help narrow down the number of candidates. But at this point, many in TI’s current sense amplifier portfolio can potentially work, for example INA181 is a cheaper alternative.
