INA133: Datasheet check

Part Number: INA133

Tool/software:

Hi, Staff

Please confirm the following two points in the INA133U datasheet (SBOS115A).

1. page6 Vo (Output voltage, gain error < 0.1%)
The negative value is listed as (V+)-0.8, but since it is on the negative side, I think it should be (V-)+0.8.

2. page7 IQ (Quiescent current (per amplifier))
Under TEST CONDITIONS it says Io=0V, but since it's a current, I think the unit should be A, in other words Io=0A.
Is my understanding correct?

I'm sorry it's a small thing.....
regards
cafain

  • Hello Cafain,

    1. Yes, this should be V-, this was an error that has been submitted to be fixed, and is in progress.
    2. I believe this may also be a typo, or at least skipping a step in the reasoning. At the top of the table there are the test conditions of split supply symmetrical around ground, and a load resistor terminated to ground. Therefore a Vout of 0V yields and Iout of 0A, but strictly speaking unit-wise, I believe the Iout should be 0A, or it should be stated that Vout = 0V. I will note this to get changed in the upcoming revision.

    Best,
    Gerasimos
