INA2227EVM: GUI Connection Issue

Part Number: INA2227EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA2227

Tool/software:

Hi Support Team,

I’m trying to use TI’s web-based INA2227 GUI (dev.ti.com/.../) to validate my INA2227 hardware. My slave address pins are set as A0 = GND and A1 = VS.

On the Register Map page, when I click Read All Registers, I do not see the default values. Instead, it appears to attempt a write and then hangs: SCL remains low while SDA stays active (see Figure 1). If I click Read All Registers again, the same behavior repeats. This suggests the INA2227 itself is functioning properly and that the issue lies on the master (GUI) side—does that sound correct?

I also noticed that the GUI labels CONFIG1 and CONFIG2 registers at addresses 0x20 and 0x21, whereas the datasheet specifies 0x10 and 0x11 (see Figure 2).

Since I’m initially only verifying the hardware setup—not the accuracy of current readings—I haven’t applied any settings on the page shown in Figure 3. That should be fine for this preliminary check, right?

Could you please:

Confirm whether my hardware wiring is correct so that the GUI can reliably communicate with the INA2227.

Provide an example configuration for the settings in Figure 3 (If I provide the hardware wiring diagram, would you be able to configure it according to my setup?
) so I can quickly verify the INA2227’s performance and move toward production.

Thank you for your assistance!
