LMV358: MSL LEVEL ISSUE

Tool/software:

Seek for your help to check and advice the correct MSL level for MPN: LMV358MMX/NOPB. 

As per datasheet MPN is in MSL 2, however the part that received is in MSL 1.

    This is OK. This device is made at two assembly sites, with two different MSLs, 1 and 2. The datasheet shows only the worst case.

    Hello Jia,

    MSL can change depending on manufacturing improvements.

    Currently the LMV358MMX/NOPB is assembled in two different sites. One site is MSL1 and the other MSL2. As Clemens said, the datasheet shows the worst case (MSL2).

    Always believe the label. The label was printed at the time and place of manufacture.

    The LMV358MMX/NOPB is currently shipping in both MSL1 and MSL2 - so the datasheet would show MSL2.
