INA128: ESD CDM Rating

Hey,

I have a quick question relating to the ESD CDM rating of INA128U. The datasheet lists the CDM rating as ±50V. This seems really low, especially when compared to the ESD ratings of the parts in the device comparison table.

Is the ±50V CDM rating accurate? Would you be able to provide any of the original qualification reports relating to ESD CDM testing to support it?

Hi Mike,

The original qualification of this device was done over two decades ago, so it will be difficult to find the original documentation. I will check with our internal team if we can find any data to support a higher CDM rating than what is listed in the datasheet.

Thanks for your patience. I got confirmation that the INA128U passed 500V CDM, so the rating on the data sheet is a typo. We will fix this in the next update.
