Part Number: INA216

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

Customer wants to know if there is any issues or risk for below baking conditions for INA216A3, can you help to check?

1. no power supply for IC.

2. no temperature rising process, the oven temperature is fixed at 175C, and the baking time is 1 hour, and the device is put in and taken out from the oven directly from room temperature.

Please confirm whether the INA216A3 can withstand the above conditions in the post-process? If not, please give the possible risks from a technical perspective.

Thanks.

  • Hi,

This device has infinite floor life, therefore bake is not necessary.

However if customer does perform bake, it is recommended to keep temperature below 125-degree C, following the suggestion given in this table.

At high temperatures, we run the risk of oxidation and intermetallic growth, which may cause solderability issues.

    Regards

    Guang
