LMH5485-SEP: Working input range of LMH5485

Part Number: LMH5485-SEP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMH5485-SP

Tool/software:

Hi,

We are using LMH5485-SP for our project, we have a facing issue at -1mV differential input given to IC.

Our differential input range is -5mV to 40mV, and my gain was 5.347.

IC was working fine at the input value of -5mV to -3mV and 1mv to 40mV.

whenever I given -1.2mV differential input to the IC,i didn't get the correct output. Please suggest a solution to meet our requirement .

Thanks&Regards,
Sixface

  • Hello Sixface,

Thanks for reaching out, a few questions based on the issue you are seeing:

    1. What is the incorrect output, as in when you input -1.2mV, what output are you seeing?
    2. What is your power supplies + output common-mode pin set to?
    3. Is this a DC input or AC input, if AC what frequency or input characteristics of the signal
    4. Would you be able to provide a snippet of how the circuit is configured using the LMH5485-SP?

    Best Regards,

    Sima

  • Hi Sima Jalaleddine,

    Please find my reply

1.)My input is -1.3mV and my expected output was -7mV,but I got -1mV

2.)Vs+ is +5V,Vs- is GND and Vocm pin is open(Output common voltage set as mid supply)

    3.)Our Input is DC

    Thanks&Regards,
    Sixface
