OPA596: Products with higher GBW than OPA596

Part Number: OPA596
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLE2142, OPA593

Tool/software:

Hi,

I was considering OPA596, but I realized that GBW is not enough.

Could you recommend a product that satisfies the following conditions?

V+=42V‐48V
V-=GND connection
Gain=7 times
BW=1MHz(max)
Slew Rate=40V/us(max)
If possible, Rail-to-Rail=In, Out

Current product is TLE2142

Nishie

  • Hi Nishie-san,

Could you recommend a product that satisfies the following conditions?

If OPA596 is unable to meet your need, OPA593 will be the next option.

You are dealing with high voltage op amp up to 48Vdc, and there is not great selection on the market.

TLE2142 may be rated up to 44Vdc (abs. max. voltage rating) and it is operating on the low end of the application requirements.

If you have other questions, please let me know.

    Best,

    Raymond

  • Hi Raymond-san,

    Thank you for your support.

Currently, we are considering a configuration with 1 stage of OPAMP, which meets the above specifications, to replace the circuit connecting 2 stages of TLE2142.

Cost is a bottleneck for OPA593. I would appreciate it if you could tell me which products have more cost benefits than OPA593.

    Best Regards,

    Nishie

  • Hi Nishie-san,

if you could tell me which products have more cost benefits than OPA593.

OPA596 is the same family as OPA593. You mentioned that the rising and falling edges are too slow. What type of input signal are you using? Square wave?

If you are using square waveform, you may implement a comparator after the OPA596. Please let me know the application details.

    Raymond

  • Hi Raymond-san,

    Thank you for checking.

I checked with the customer about the input signal. An analog waveform with variable rise and fall times is input. Therefore, it is difficult to use the comparator.

    Thank you for your support.

    Nishie

  • Hi Nishie-san,

    Ok, please let us know.
