OPA857: Increasing input current limit

Part Number: OPA857

Tool/software:

Hi,

Can we increase the input current limit for the TIA by reducing the gain of the chip?
OPA857 has a selectable gain using CTRL pin. I've it at 5k gain at the moment which has a current limit of 240uA. If I want to increase that limit to around 1mA, can I add an external resistor or a parallel capacitor across IN and OUT pin to reduce the gain to increase the current input limit? Does this chip support that feature?

Please let me know, thanks Slight smile
