OPA2376-Q1: Application question

Part Number: OPA2376-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM7705,

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

We would like to check some specification in datasheet.

1. Do we have TA = 25C and TA = -40C test result could be information?

2. We would like to check if red circle node has risk because it is used by multiple OPA.

May you share the comment if red circle and blue circle have the similar performance or not? (only 1mV)

Regards,

Roy

  • Hello Roy,

Both Vos and VOL are in play for low accuracy.  LM7705 could be used to get much better Vos and VOL.

  • Roy,

    In case of OPA2376-Q1 operating on a single supply,  (V-) = 0V,

    1a) the specified input common-mode voltage range is: 0 < Vcm < (V+)-1.3V at 25C and below

    1b) the actual input common-mode voltage range is 400mV < Vcm < (V+)-1.3V at 125C (see below)

    2)  the problem with the node in red circle is not due to the fact that it drives multiple op amps but because at 25C linear range is limited by the output swing (must be 50mV or above for 10k load) while at 125C the linear range is limited by input range (needs to be 400mV or higher).  the same applied to node in blue circle.
