I want to know that TPA3116D2 evm how much output can produce with 4ohm load and 24v supply with 1Khz Sine Wave and also want to know what is maximum Vrms.

I have a TPA3118 evm board which is in PBTL mode and when i test this with 1Khz sine wave using 24v supply and 4ohm load, the maximum Vrms = 10v (it once show14v and then stable to ~10v).

Hey Kuldeep,

The output signal usually meets a couple voltage levels just below the power rail.

I am using the same circuit with 12v 5amp supply with 4ohm load speaker but if i give ip-phone speaker signal to amplifier input signal, voice clipped and distorted; how can i fix this?

Hey Kuldeep,

The load could be any value of your choice. Typical values are 4ohm or 8ohm. To avoid clipping, I suggest reducing the input signal or increasing the voltage on pvcc. Ultimately, create headroom or make choices for your output signal to not clip.
