LM2904B: Usage limitation of LM2904BIDR

Can you please confirm the part LM2904BIDR is the industrial/automotive grade? Is it suitable to use for the industrial equipment use .

    The automotive grade is under LM2904-Q1/LM2904B-Q1, which the datasheet is separate from non-automotive op amps. LM2904B-Q1 is the latest revision in the op amp. The suffix Q1 refers to automotive certified op amps. 

    Yes, the automotive grade op amps are well suited for industrial equipment application. The industrial equipment typically refers to operating temperature range between -40C to +125C, and both  LM2904B and LM2904-Q1/LM2904B-Q1 are able to withstand the temperature ranges. The differences are that the automotive class comes with AEC-Q100 certification, which is required for automotive application.
