OPA2832: Is it a good replacement for LTC6253IDC#TRMPBF

Part Number: OPA2832
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2822, OPA2836, OPA2690

Tool/software:

Hi,

I am trying to find a replacement for LTC6253IDC#TRMPBF.  The BW will be 20Mhz.  Will OPA2832 be a good choice?  In fact I am trying to find a drop in replacement, but can't seem to find any that is in the same package and run on 2.5V, dual channel.

Not sure if the circuit will be shown here correctly.

.

Regards

Tan

  • Hi Tan,

You are right. We currently do not have a drop-in replacement for the given package. You can use OPA2822 with similar settling time and lower noise than LTC6253 or use OPA2690 with a very good settling time. For 2.5V operation, you can use OPA2836. However, we are working on a new high BW, fast settling amplifier which will also be drop in upgrade to LTC6253. You can reach out at vikasj@ti.com for more information.

    Thanks
