Dear team,

          We have input DC supply of 160V 150mA current, we want to sense the current of the voltage for the we are using isolated amplifier AMC3330 IC, output of this IC we are connected to ADC ADS131M08IPBSR . If we can be able to connect the signal directly or we need to divide the voltage, how it will work. Kindly provide a solution.

  • Hello, the AMC3330 is a voltage sensing device. For current sensing, use AMC3301 or AMC3302. The input of the

    ADS131M08 accepts differential voltages (Vref/GAIN). For the gain of one, you get -1.20 to +1.2V differential voltage.

    To get this range, use 1Ohm sense resistor and AMC3301.

    I got an impression that you want to sense the output current of a power supply that generates 160V.

          Sorry for the inconvenience, I have attached the basic block diagram for this device, Like this we are using 8 number of AM3302 device and we are connected those output to ADC , we need to sense the current 1.5A in each channel. Kindly provide us one solution.
