Tool/software:
Dear Sir
We have received parts of LM6171AIMX/NOPB, referring to photo below, we have noticed the label on the box with COO=GERMANY, some is RoHS Exempt, and some is without.
Are below labels are normal for this part? Any concern?

Hi Selena,
The symbols shown one the package label seem right. I attached a link to a TI webpage that specifies what these symbols mean. If these units were purchased through our site or an authorized distributor, I would have no concern. Package labels are updated for various reasons.

Why the RoHS logo indentification are the same PbFree and RoHS Exemp for part assemble in the same Site and based on the datasheet and website information this MPN is NiPdAU which is PbFree. But why RoHS Exempt, is their any material exempt for RoHS compliance. Do you have any PCN for any qualification done for this MPN?
Please help advise
Hi Selena,
I can ask our project manager to see if there is any info that can be provided, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Ignacio
Hi Selena,
I reached out with members of the team for additional information but was wondering if you could provide the lot numbers for the labels in question. This will be information we would need to look further into this.
Best regards,
Ignacio
