INA229: vbus connection

Tool/software:

In the typical application, the VBUS is connected to IN+.

In the layout, the VBUS is connected to IN-.

Is it a mistake here?

    Hi Liping,

    Both connection are valid, if you connect VBUS to IN+, you'll be factoring in the power consumption from the INA229 in the power calculations. If you connect VBUS to the IN-, it will not include the drop across the resistor.
