OPA2310: OPA2310

Part Number: OPA2310

Tool/software:

Hi

We need to use OPA2310 in new design with single supply (5V) and as follower. What will be max output drive current with 0,8V to 5V input.

Can it drive up to 100mA current without any output voltage deviation?

Can you please provide output voltage vs output current graph with single power supply (5V)

Best regards

  • Hi Ishwar,

You can use the claw curves on page 19 of the data sheet for your conditions:

At 5.5V supply, 25°C and sourcing 100mA, the output voltage drops to ~2.52V which corresponds to ~0.23V drop from V+.

For high current drive applications, a power op amp may be more appropriate: Power op amps product selection | TI.com

  • Assuming 100mA load connected to ground (sourcing only), the maximum output range at 25C would be from 50mV to 4.77V.  But since sourcing 100mA will raise the junction temperature due to power dissipation inside the package, the save thing to do would be to assume maximum output swing from 50mV to 4.7V
