The Viso rating of AMC0381D-Q1 is 5kVrms, can this part withstand 6kV DC Hi-Pot test?

    Hi Charles, 

    This device is not specified to withstand 6kV DC Hi-Pot test as per the spec you mention. 

    Likely, there is sufficient margin such that the device would survive, but it is not guaranteed. 

    Can you please provide some background on the need for this high voltage test? 

    5kV is typically sufficient. 

    They could consider another device such as AMC1411 if this is a hard requirement.
