LM6172: If LM6172 is dual version of LM6171 why are the specs so different?

Part Number: LM6172
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM6171,

Tool/software:

From the datasheet, it sounds like the LM6172 is a dual version of the LM6171:

Many of the specs to in fact look similar. But the harmonic distortion of the LM6172 looks very bad compared to the LM6171. Looking at Fig 5-44 of the LM6171 and Fig 3-36 of the LM6172, the HD2 looks about 100 times worse for the LM6172 at say 1 MHz.

The LM6171 gives the gain etc used for the plot, but says VS = 30V. I assume they mean +-15V. The LM6172 does not state the conditions used to measure the plot. So maybe it's just not comparing the same thing. But it seems very different.

Is the LM6172 really a dual version of the LM6171?
