OPA2192: OPA2192 Part Marking?

Part Number: OPA2192

Tool/software:

I recently ordered some PCB assemblies from a very legitimate supplier, but the OPA2192s on the board didn't perform as I expected, based on testing with a previous revision. I compared photos I took of parts that I know are legit that we have in stock and can verify the traceability of, which also perform as expected, vs the parts on my new assembly.

Old part markings:

New part markings:

Are these markings on my newer board legit?

Thanks!

  • Hi Kyle,

I can confirm that the newer OPA2192 on your board is legitimate. Can you give some more details on the behavior you are seeing on the newer OPA2192 device?

    Thank you,

    Carrie

  • Thanks for the confirmation, Carrie!

I'm driving a reasonably capacitive load (approx. 600-800pF) with a DC signal and I'm seeing oscillation from these newer 2192s, where the old ones behaved well. I'm going to replace these new parts with the older parts one by one and see if I can achieve the same response.

    Thanks,
    Kyle
