Hi expert,

My customer (CosMX) wants to use INA186-Q1 as low-side current sensing in Auto 48V BMS project. Is there any design point we need to take care in this application? Thanks.

    Thanks for the question and using the E2E forum.

    Hi Ryker,

    First of, the INA186 has a common mode range of -0.2V to 40V, it will not work if the bus voltage is 48V. If Vcm is within range, then the only other design note would be the input filtering, it is recommended to avoid input filtering is possible, if customer will need input filtering, ensure the R <1k and C is between 0.1 to 1uF.
