TLV341: Shutdown Pin Design Change

Hi team,

Could you please explain the reason for the change in shutdown voltage (0.8V to 0.2V max) due to the recent TLV341 PCN (Datasheet Rev. I to Rev. J)?
Also, could you please provide information on the internal configuration of the updated shutdown pin (e.g., whether pull-up or pull-down resistor is integrated)?

  • The reason for the TLV341 change was to more accurately reflect device characteristics.  Since the device function mode description includes wording of normal operation when SHDN pin is not present, this implies that there is an internal pull-up resistor to (V+) that assures active mode with SHDN left floating - see below.
