INA240-Q1: Reference Divider Accuracy

Part Number: INA240-Q1

Tool/software:

Does the reference divider accuracy (0.1% MAX) mean that the maximum imbalance between REF1 and REF2 is 0.1%?

For example, if Rref1 is 50 kΩ, does this mean that the resistance of Rref2 is between (1-0.1%)*50 kΩ and (1+0.1%)*50 kΩ? Is my understanding correct?

  • Hi,

Your understanding is correct. The worst case is REF1=(1-0.1%)*50 kΩ and REF2=(1+0.1%)*50 kΩ, or vice versa.

As an example, suppose VS=5V, the resulting reference voltage generated by the divider would be in the range of (1±0.1%)*2.5V
