INA3221: ADC MUX Detection

HI Team,

About INA3221 the datasheet show it's has 3 ch and 1 ADC with mux function.

If ADC switch to ch 1 and in this moment other ch occur critical or warning event.

Does the alert will be issued? 

Or alert will be issued only ADC switching to that ch and the critical or warning event still occurring?

    Hello Andy,

    The ADC only looks at one channel at a time, so if the event happens while the ADC is converting another channel, then the alert will only happen if the event is still present when the ADC switches back to that channel.

    One way to help this situation is to use a fast conversion time (and then optionally use more averaging), so that the ADC looks at the channels more frequently.
