Tool/software:
We are using the MIMX8ML6CVNKZAB processor for our audio development project and have selected the TI_TAS6424-Q1 audio amplifier, which communicates over the I²S protocol. The processor supports SAI (Synchronous Audio Interface).
Our current plan is to connect the interfaces as follows:
SAI3_TXD → I2S_SDI1 (for stereo channels 0 and 1)
SAI3_TXFS → I2S_WS
SAI3_TXC → I2S_SCLK
SAI3_MCLK → I2S_MCLK
We would like to confirm:
Is any additional software support or SDK required to configure the SAI interface for I²S operation on this processor?
If needed please share the driver SDK to support this functionality.
