LMH13000RQEEVM: When changing to an IR laser without a built-in photodiode.

If we want to change from Ams-OSRAM's V105Q121A-940 to another IR laser that does not have a built-in photodiode, the photodiode section on the LMH13000RQEEVM will be left open.
Is it still possible to output a signal to the IR laser section under this condition?

Hi Satomi San,

Yes you can do that. The photodiode section and the Laser diode section works independently in the LMH13000RQEEVM. So you can keep the photodiode section open and still power the IR laser to send the optical output from it.
