OPA2994: OPA2994 Slew Rate in Datasheet not achieved

I am using the OPA2994IDR and require a slew rate of at least 30V/µs. I am using the OP as an inverting amplifier with a factor of 1.5. Unfortunately, I am measuring a rise time of 20V/µs at the output.

I have seen that the data sheet was changed from 18V/µs to 35V/µs in 2024. Could it be that I have received an “old” component?
Under what specific conditions is the slew rate of 35V/µs specified in the data sheet achieved?

Hi Florian,

The OPA2994 has a slew boost block in it and the slew rate is dependent on the differential voltage at the inputs. Please see the examples in the app note: Ramping Up on Slew Rate

Hello,

I read in the document that the input voltage difference must be at least 800 mV and the gain must be 1. I have taken both of these points into account and have also removed the peripheral circuitry to avoid any further sources of error. The slew rate hardly changes and remains at 23 V/µs.

Well, I now had to find another operational amplifier that could meet my expectations.
