THS3217: Offset voltage adjustment

Part Number: THS3217

Hi,

I would like to know how to adjust the output offset voltage of THS3217. I have use D2S output with V01 and OPS output with Vout. I have tested it with 500mVDC input voltage, and it show 10mV offset. I also tested with 1V pulse, and it shows 35mV offset from D2S output, and 45mV offset from OPS output. I wonder how to correct/adjust to lower the offset voltage, and would that midscale buffer helps? how to use the midscale buffer to improve the offset voltage?

Thank you

  • Hi Weyann,

There are a couple ways you could implement this. The easiest way would be to connect pin 15 to 14, and drive pin 1 to correct for the offset you see at the output. The voltage set to pin 1 would be directly at the output of the D2S and the input of the OPS portion.

    Best regards,
