INA226: show the power use

I want to implement this with an INA226. I plan to use it in a set-top box and show the set-top’s power use on the TV.
Can I measure voltage and current with the INA226 and send those values to the MCU?
The power shown is only the set-top’s consumption — not accounting for the adapter’s efficiency.

Hello David,

Yes, the INA226 can measure both current and voltage. Both values are readable over I2C. The INA226 can also calculate the power value for you, and you can read that as well.
