OPA356: OPA356 overshoot

Hi,

OPA356 datasheet shows an overshoot of up to about 12.5% for a 2V step at gain +2. At 200mV step situation is a bit better.

Could you recommend options for reducing this overshoot?

    Hi,

    For this device one option I would try is adjusting the Rf resistor. This device in particular does show some sensitivity to the value of Rf, so one suggestion would be to reduce the Rf value which would in theory improve the overshoot behavior. You could also increase the gain of the circuit as this should also help with overshoot if this is an option.
