TPA3132D2: High temperature on the AMP

Hi Experts,

when power up the AMP the temperature raise above 70ºC without playing any sound. 

Could you review the schematic to find any error that cause the high temperature?

    Hi Marvin, 

    The only thing I notice on the schematic is that AMX pins are pulled up to 1.8, but a logic high for these pins needs to be above 2 V. Also I assume only one resistor either pull up or pull down is populated. Please update this, but I am not sure this is the cause of the overheating.

    The device has thermal pad on the bottom. Is this properly soldered to the PCB ground? 

    Another thing you can try is remove the DC input caps to remove the input audio connection completely and see if overheating still occurs.
