AMC3311-Q1: Inquiry about the TOTAL ERROR

Part Number: AMC3311-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC3311, AMC3330

I would like to inquire about the TOTAL ERROR specification of the AMC

We are currently evaluating the total error from the high-voltage input to the analog output in a circuit using the AMC3311. We would like to confirm whether this can be fully assessed based on the specifications provided in the datasheet below, or if additional compensation is required for parameters such as temperature drift, offset error, and others

As a reference, the high-voltage input of 1000V is attenuated to 2V through a resistor divider network before being fed into the AMC3311. Please note that you do not need to take the resistor tolerance into account, as we will handle that calculation ourselves.

  • Hi,

These is a typical curve, so likely a worst-case error analysis should be performed.

We have an accuracy excel calculator that I'm in the process of updating now. https://www.ti.com/tool/download/SBAR013

AMC3330 is very close in terms of analog specifications and I'll make sure that AMC3311 is added in the next update.

If you need a faster summation of AMC3311 exactly, please let me know and I can provide a preliminary picture from the excel calculator with your user inputs.
