INA303: Floating differential input

Part Number: INA303

Greetings,

I plan to use the INA303A1 in an AFE design. Since its common-mode voltage rating is 36 V and my application requires sensing across a 72 V range, is it possible to leave the shunt resistor floating (not tied to the AFE ground) so that the inverting input is not referenced to the AFE circuit ground?

The AFE and ADC will be galvanically isolated from the rest of the system, providing several kV of isolation. Would this approach allow the INA303A1 to operate safely within its specifications?
