Part Number: LMH13000
Hello,
Want to use the LMH13000 as a laser driver pulse shaping.
To do this I want to use the VSET input.
I wonder what is the Bandwidth of this input.

Giora

Hello Giora,
Thank you for your question.
The VSET input bandwidth for the LMH13000 is approximately 800kHz. For additional detail, please refer to the device datasheet, specifically Figure 5-21. VSET to IOUT Bandwidth Response, which illustrates the typical behavior over frequency.
If you have further questions or need assistance with your laser driver pulse-shaping application, feel free to follow up.

Hello Sanganna,
I am using the spice of the LMH13000 ( LMH13000_V0p2.lib)
to simulate the Iout as a function of VSET - input a pulse with rise time of 1ns, Rise time of IOUT is < 2ns.
Not agreed with the data sheet.
Please advise.

Giora
Hello Giora Eytan,
Apologies for the delayed response.
To understand the discrepancy you are observing between the LMH13000 SPICE model and the datasheet specifications, could you please share the schematic and simulation setup you are using (including load conditions, supply rails, and measurement points)?
This will help us review the conditions under which the IOUT rise time is being measured and provide accurate guidance.
Thank you for your patience.

Hello Giora,
Thank you for sharing the TSC model and the signal plots. I’ve reviewed the model and noticed a few issues that need to be addressed on our side. We are currently working on fixing them and will update you shortly with our findings.
Thanks and regards,
Jyothi
Hello Giora,
Thank you for your patience. The VSET to IOUT bandwidth has not been updated in the TSC model. At this time, you may proceed by using the device from 1MHz onward.
We are actively working on updating the model and will share the revised version once it becomes available.
Best Regards,
Jyothi
Hello Giora Eytan
Thank you for your patience.
Please find the attached updated TINA-TSC model with VSET to IOUT bandwidth implemented. This revision includes the necessary updates.
Kindly review the model and let us know if you encounter any issues or require further clarification.
