BQ79600EVM: Is manual Auto-Adressing possible?

Dear TI Support Staff,

I have a BQ79600EVM with multiple BQ79718Q-1 daisy chained to it. Is there a way to change the auto addressing process so that i can decide which BQ79718Q-1 gets which address specifically?

Hi Florian,

Not quite.

You can autoadress devices up until any device you would like to in the stack and set that device as top of stack. However, all devices before the TOS device also get autoadressed. You cannot just choose a single device in the stack and autoadress just this one.
