TLV9364: Datasheet Package Dimension Inquiry

Part Number: TLV9364
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV9164,

 Hello.

While reviewing the datasheet, I'm writing to inquire about the correct dimensions for the TSSOP(14) package: the dimensions on the first page or the dimensions in the PACKAGE OUTLINE on page 46.

Additionally,

For applications using voltage-following, non-inverting amplifiers, can you recommend the smallest and most affordable opamp with 4 or more channels, an offset voltage of 0.8 mV or less, a frequency of 5 MHz or more, and a slew voltage of 12 V/us or more?

Best regards,

  • Hello,

While reviewing the datasheet, I'm writing to inquire about the correct dimensions for the TSSOP(14) package: the dimensions on the first page or the dimensions in the PACKAGE OUTLINE on page 46.

The front page table and the package drawing match in regards to the dimensions in both screen captures. The confusion may be coming from the fact that the package drawing is showing the upper and lower bounds for the tolerance while the front page table is shown the typical value that is in between the upper and lower bound.

Using our online cross reference tool I have filtered down to the criteria you shared. The link below can be modified to further filter for devices for your project.

    https://www.ti.com/product-category/amplifiers/op-amps/general-purpose/products.html#480=4%3B4&2max=0.15%3B1&23typ=5%3B62.5&sort=1130;asc&

The TLV9164 is the lowest cost quad option that comes close to meeting your specs. The Vos filter I put at 1mV in order to provide as many options that meet the other requirements. I hope this helps.

  • Thank you for your help.

I missed one requirement. It needed to be able to accept a 24V input.
    I apologize for the confusion.
I searched and selected the link you provided, and I found the correct method. Thank you so much for your kind response.

Also, I was confused because the body size and package size were listed differently on the TLV9364 standard and automotive certification materials. Since Ultra Librian only had automotive certification materials, I couldn't check them properly. I'm embarrassed.
