UC28023: Output of error amplifier

Part Number: UC28023

Hi team

In UC28023 PWM controller if i short the error amplifier output pin with the inverting input terminal of the IC and the control signal id being fed to the non inverting input terminal how the logic would be working in peak current mode control and also please provide me withe the spice model of the IC if it is available.

  • Hi Anandkumar,

These connections would configure the error amplifier as a unity gain amplifier, where the output would simply match the non-inverting input (your external control signal). You can use this configuration with current mode control by applying a signal proportional to the current at the RAMP pin of UC28023.

There is no SPICE model available for this device.

    Thanks,

    John
