TAS2563: Band Equaliser

In TAS2563 its mentioned that there is 10band equaliser for tuning but in the register map we couldn't find any so can you please provide the necessary info for tuning the equaliser also i need support regarding Purepath console 3 as i can't see any devices or settings in the application even after logging in, as you can see in attached image below image (5).png

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. You next need to request and gain access to the TAS2563 app. Then you will be able to install it within the PPC3 application. From there you can use the tool to tune the device EQ. Note that the PPC3 app you need is dependent on the package of TAS2563 you are using. I included both links below. Please request access to the TAS2563 package that you are using.

One more thing i want to confirm like is there any difference in EQ bands for TAS2563RPPR and TAS2563YBGR

Hello,

Overall TAS2563 QFN offers more EQ biquads than TAS2563 BGA. Essentially the BGA package was developed first and when we developed the QFN variant we had additional space to add features.

Apart from Bands Is there Any Limitation for BGA Package , Because we have Already used in Design as it wasnt mentioned anywhwere Reagrding this in Website or datasheet

Hello,

There are 2 versions of TAS2563: WCSP and QFN.
- WCSP features 5-band EQ, 2-band DRC and 1-band DEQ
- QFN features 2 modes of operation in itself:
- Smart Speaker Mode: features 10-band EQ, 3-band DRC, 1-band DEQ and PBE
- PDM Mode: features 3-band EQ and PDM microphone recording
