TLV1805: Problem with a simulation of a comparator

Part Number: TLV1805

Hi:
I had some problems doing the simulation using the stock model from Pspice TI of the TLV1805.

I dont know what I am doing wrong. I have some application where I want to use this part on a isolated digital input with custom hysteresis requirements, so I wanted to start with a basic simulation.

This is the schematic and I will also attach it here.

Where the output of the transient analysis is the following:

What I expected, was this from the datasheet:

Can you please help me understand what I am doing wrong on the simulation?

  • Hello Roosbel,

The simulation may be trying to find a stable linear operation point. It locked on to that false point. Try running with zero initial values. Also make should all connections are connected. The yellow and gray curves should be the same, on the same wire (node).

  • Hi Roosbel,

Change the "1M" to "1MEG". Works fine...

1M or 1m are both one milli-ohm. Cadence does not differentiate on capitalization.

The "1m" feedback resistor from the 0.5 mOhm source impedance was completely overriding the output.
