can the lmh7220 be use with adc for signal triggering?
for example,with a frequency range of dc to 400MHz,input voltage of ±5V,maximum swing of 5VPP,input impedance of 50Ohm±2%,trigger jitter of ≤40ps rms,trigger level adjustment range of ±5V, and trigger sensitivity of 200mVPP @DC to 400MHz.
If the LMH7220 cannot be used for the example mentioned above, are there any other solutions recommended?
The data sheet jitter spec is typical, but no maximum limit. The spec doesn't include 400MHz. The spec setups are same as or less than 200mVpp. The toggle rate min does meet spec.
LMH7220 is the comparator most likely to meet the desired specs.
Can the LMH7220 be used to implement the input of an external single-ended clock, with a frequency of 10 MHz, amplitude range of 356 mVPP (-5 dBm) to 5 VPP (+18 dBm) sine wave, and 285 mVPP to 4 VPP square wave? If so, could you please provide some reference materials? Thank you.
Hello, I have referred to the evaluation board and drawn the schematic. I need to convert a single-ended clock input of 10MHz to a differential output. Please note that the single-ended input clock may be either a square wave or a sine wave, and the dBm range is quite wide. Could you please review it for me? Thank you.
I moved R1 connection and added diodes to clamp excessive input voltage.
Watch for input signal impedance problems with square wave large input.
