OPA392: Recommendation Cin<20pF

Part Number: OPA392

Dear Team,

we are looking for a opamp in smallest form factor like DCK or smaller

It will be used as buffer ( voltage follower ) foa a analog voltage from temperature IC

Requirement

-> CMOS buffer with a maximum of 20 pF input capacitance

-> input voltage to noninverting input can be from 0.9V to 1.5V

What device would  you recommned?

Best Regards,

d.

    Thanks for your post. Most of our amps meet the less than 20pF requirement. While opa392 is a nice choice, please share other requirements on Monday if possible and we will review on Tuesday and make a recommendation.

  • Hi Chuck,

    from the temperature IC i only have this two specs

    -> CMOS buffer with a maximum of 20 pF input capacitance

    -> input voltage to noninverting input can be from 0.9V  to 1.5V

    0.992 V @ -30 deg C

    1.422 V @ +70 deg C

    this signal needs to be buffered.

    Analog signal (0.9V to 1.5V) -> OPA392 ( buffer configuration) -> 100R 10nf (Anti Aliasing filter) -> ADC input ( 100R , 3pF)

    I will either  supply the opamp with 1.8V or 5V for V+ and GND for V-

    The size matters, smaller better but maybe avoid BGA and X2SON.

    OPA392 has good noise specs...

    Maybe device package where you have different pin compatible devices ( it is not a must)

    Also the same OPA will be used on a different place for bias reference for ADC

    1.8V -> resistor devider ( 2k61 / 1k) -> ~ 0.5V -> OPA392 ( buffer configuration) -> Riso 100R -> 100nf to GND -> ADC input ( 100R , 3pF)
    Supply for opmap is 1.8V

    Best Regards,

    d.

  • David,

    It is right in data sheet. Well under 20pF
