THS6232: Data anomaly

Part Number: THS6232

I have been using THS6232 module with 24V power supply for the past few days. I found that when sending a lot of data continuously, one frame of data may appear intermittent. Can you help me analyze the reason. The red line section has an external bias circuit, which is not actually present

Here is a screenshot magnified by one frame. When the magnification is around 10 times and 10 messages are sent continuously, this situation will occur. The larger the magnification, the faster it will appear. Changing it to 12V does not have this problem

Sending more than 200 consecutive output waveforms will result in this

  • Hi Zhang,

From the information you provided one potential explanation is that the device is getting too hot and going into thermal shut down. The fact that the device is also performing better when your supplies are lower hints at this idea. Is there a way you could maybe get some kind of external fan and just see if airflow changes how often the device starts to glitch and if this behavior improves or changes in any way by cooling down the circuit. This should be a quick way to rule out if it is a thermal issue.

    Best Regards,
