Hello,

Can the LM339BIRTER operate with its DAP/thermal pad floating?

I have a prototype build where I use the LM339BIRTER. Unfortunately, due to a PCB layout SNAFU, the DAP ended up connected to system ground rather than to VEE (pin 12), so the LM339 shorts out the VEE power supply. As a prototype workaround I am considering leaving the DAP or thermal pad floating, possibly isolated with some Kapton tape. Will this work?
