Part Number: INA950-SEP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA240
The same question as here:
I'm in search for the commercial/automotive grade alternative of the INA950-SEP for prototyping.
Has there been any progress regarding it?

Hi Anibal,
I just got confirmation that there is no longer any plan to release an evaluation part for this device. I would recommend using the SPICE model on the device information page for computer simulation of electrical characteristics.
Thanks,
Levi DV
Hello Levi,
please correct me if I'm wrong, but to my understanding, the RAD components are usually based on an existing design. If so, then there should be an IC that has the same properties as the INA950-SEP, but COTS/automotive grade.
thank you for your time.
Anibal
Hello Anibal,
You are correct, however which device a part is based on is considered proprietary information, so I am unable to share it with you. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello, as Anibal I am searching an engineering alternative of INA950-SEP, also there is no information about samples. Please, I would like to know if there is going to be an engineering alternative as I have used this ic in a manufactured PCB, and each one cost about 250 USD.
Hi Joaquin,
there is no longer any plan to release an evaluation part for this device.
The technical forum is not the correct place to ask about samples, please contact your local field representative to make sample requests.
Thanks,
Levi DV
Hello Levi, I did not asked for samples, I said that in the product information there is no information about samples, there is also no information about stock quantities, seems like it is an obsolete part even though it says is active. There is no way to purchase this IC. Also, I think is very worrying that TI releases a product that not only doesn't have a special engineering model in replacement, but also the INA240 is also not compatible due to pin out being electrically identical as INA950-SEP.
Regards,
Joaquín.
Hello Joaquin, Hello Gaston,
I am able to see the part availability:

If you are still having issues with ordering reach out to the customer service team: https://www.ti.com/customer-support/request-form

I recommend you use the spice model published on the product page to perform electrical evaluations. If you need a physical device as part of evaluations, purchasing a unit or requesting a sample are the only options we currently have.
the INA240 is also not compatible due to pin out being electrically identical as INA950-SEP
The INA240 does not have the same features as the INA950-SEP, so it cannot be pin to pin compatible to the INA950-SEP.
The INA950-SEP was released in March 2025 and is not obsolete.
Let me know if you have any more questions,
