PGA855: Regarding Input and Output

Part Number: PGA855

Dear Team,

I came across this PGA849RGTR part which does Differential to Single ended Conversion with Variable gain controlled digitally. I am Planning to use this part in my design.

The below mentioned are my requirements, Please confirm that this part can be used.
I want Variable gain Controlled digitally,
BW is 10Hz to 10MHz
Differential to Single ended Conversion.

One more question is I also want a part to do the same in opposite.
I want the same process but Single ended to Differential.

I came across this part PGA855 which is a Diff to diff. Can i use this for Single ended to Differential COnversion and have all the same features as it is in PGA849RGTR .

HI Maharajan,

Yes this is possible with the PGA855. The only thing that must be taken into consideration is the input-common mode voltage.

We have a calculator available on the product page that allows for this consideration: PGA85X-INPUT-OUTPUT-RANGE-DESIGN-CALC Calculation tool | TI.com

I will walk you through an example to illustrate single-ended to differential conversion using the PGA855.

This output differential is complaint with the boundary diagram below:

Also, i want another suggestion. I want a single ended to single ended Amplifier with Gain =1.

Please suggest if there is a part which satisfy the above requirement available.

I want 2 parts, Single ended to Single ended with Gain = 1,

1 part with 10Hz to 10MHz BW and other with 10MHz to 6GHz BW.

Hi Maharajan,

What supply voltages are you using for your design?

For your single-ended to single-ended amplifier request, do you need a high voltage or low voltage amplifier for this device as well? How many channels?

Supply voltage of my design is 6V.

I want 1 Channel Gain=1 amplifier for 10Hz to 10MHz BW and 10MHz to 6GHz BW

Below please click on the link for the list of single channel op amps with GBW between 10MHz to 50MHz. Since op amps are NOT AC coupled the lower limit is DC.

For information about op amps with GBW above 50MHz you need to inquire under LAMPS-HSAMPS product line.
