LM1875: NEB package drawing confirmation needed

Part Number: LM1875

Hello Team,

 

The Part LM1875T/LB02 got Obsoleted, and the recommended replacement was LM1875T/LF02 (just Pb-free difference). When cross checking the dimensions, I could see there are two versions of NEB package (Version A & B). May I know which rev does the Obsoleted and Alternate part follows?

    Hi Suresh,

    Did you notice any actual difference in the dimensions between these versions?
    It seems to me, even though these are different revisions, the actual dimensions are the same across them, so it would not matter which one you consider for obsolete and alternate device.

    Hello Ivan,

    I noticed the alternate pin alignment differs for both the parts.

    Rev A: 3 long leads and 2 short leads
    Rev B: 2 long leads and 3 short leads

    This diferrence created a confusion for me. Can you please check and clarify?

    Hi Suresh,

    I see the difference, it seems similar questions have come to e2e a few times before but now LB device is no longer available.

    I think that LF device (currently the only available) corresponds to NEB0005E (revB) drawing. This is the same package as depicted in the product folder.
    If it helps, I can get some samples to double check.

    Hello Ivan,

    The confirmation on LB is also required as I'm trying to check if LF device can be potential fit for LB device.

    So please check samples of both LM1875T/LB02 and LM1875T/LF02 and confirm me on the package.

    So it means you couldn't get samples to check for both parts LM1875T/LB02 and LM1875T/LF02?

    As per your previous statement can I consider that LF device (currently the only available) corresponds to NEB0005E (revB) drawing?

    Hi Suresh,

    Correct, I have requested samples for LM1875T/LF02 and expect to receive these at some point of next week.

    Also correct, (revB) drawing should correspond to LF device. Once I receive the samples I can confirm for sure.

    Hello Ivan,

    After some research in my database, i found the Obsoleted part LM1875T/LB02 has rev A drawing. So I believe the suggested replacement part LM1875T/LF02 should also hold rev A drawing.

    Once you recieve samples, please check and let me know.

    Hi Suresh,

    The samples I received have 3 long leads and 2 short leads, corresponding to NEB0005B TA05B (REVA).
    This is the same as the 3D model in the product folder pictures.
