INA126: INA126PA alternative

Part Number: INA126

Hi I am looking for TI INA126PA  which is obsolete. TI.com recommends INA126UA/2K5 as a replacement. Is the replacement the same form. fit, function? What are the differences between the 2 parts. Do you have any in stock to quote? Thank you.

  • Hi Lori,

What are the differences between the 2 parts.

The INA126PA is our PDIP package variant of the INA126. The INA126UA/2K5 is the SOIC package variant.

Is the replacement the same form. fit, function?

It wouldn't be a "drop in" replacement as they have different packages. Other than the packages they are the same device so should have same function.

Do you have any in stock to quote?

We appear to have exhausted our stock. It also looks like 3rd party is out too.

Are you able to move over to using a surface mount device or does it need to be a PDIP (through hole) package?

    Best Regards,

    Robert Clifton
